A man had to be extricated from his vehicle after a rollover crash on a Los Angeles freeway overnight, and it was all caught on camera.
Preliminary information indicates the collision occurred around 2 a.m. Saturday on the westbound span of the 10 Freeway near Arlington Avenue in South L.A.
Footage posted to the Citizen App shows first responders pulling the man from the overturned vehicle as traffic passed slowly by on both sides of the scene.
A California Highway Patrol spokesperson was not able to confirm many details surrounding the crash but did note that the male driver was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
Whether he was under the influence at the time was not immediately determined, the CHP spokesperson added.
No SigAlert was issued, but video footage shows that part of the freeway where the rollover crash occurred was shut down in the moments after the crash.
What caused the collision is unknown.
