SHOTS FIRED: A report of a resident firing a gun into the air and threatening two people drew four officers to the 11800 block of Komensky Avenue Nov. 25, police said. The officers recovered a spent 9 mm shell near the home but were unable to immediately question a person of interest, police said.
POLICE CHASE: Akram Hassan, 27, Chicago Ridge, was arrested Dec. 11 after leading Alsip and Crestwood officers on a chase that ended when he drove into several residential fences near 127th Street and Illinois Route 83, police said.
Burbank
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Edgar Rodriguez, 38, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 4 and accused of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct after chasing a Burbank man from his home in the 8500 block of Nottingham Avenue into a fast-food restaurant in Bridgeview, through the dining area and then into the food preparation area where Rodriguez was barred by employees, police said. Rodriguez was subsequently arrested after attempting to enter the food preparation area through a drive-thru window, police said.
ROBBERY: A Facebook Marketplace user who set up a meeting Dec. 15 in a parking lot in the 5300 block of 79th Street to sell a bracelet for $300 told police the buyer grabbed it, threw three prop $100 bills into his car and fled.
Evergreen Park
BURGLARIES: Two storefronts in the 3300 block of West 95th Street were smashed and their cash registers taken early Dec. 13, police said. Smoke City Tobacco security video shows four males forcing their way in at 2:36 a.m. and then forcing their way inside and out of Subway, exiting in a vehicle stolen from Hometown, police said.
Homewood
GUN POSSESSION: Anthony Davis, 27, 14700 block of Riverside Drive, South Holland, was arrested Nov. 18 and subsequently charged with unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest after attempting to retrieve a loaded handgun with an extended magazine from his waistband while struggling with officers during a disorderly conduct investigation at Target, 17605 Halsted St., police said.
SUSPENDED CRASH: Keasha Mcclure, 28, Plano, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license, failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision and failing to remain at the scene after a Nov. 22 crash at Harwood Avenue and Olive Road, police said.
Monee
GUN POSSESSION: Jason Pilto, 49, Marseilles, was arrested Dec. 8 and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on a person or vehicle and possession of a stolen firearm, police said. Officers recovered a loaded 9 mm pistol from him near the intersection of Court Street and Chestnut Road, police said.
New Lenox
THEFT SENTENCE: One of three males captured on security video breaking into Cornerstone Jewelry and Engraving, 1876 E. Lincoln Highway, in March 2023 was sentenced to two years in prison with 364 days’ credit for time served, according to Will County court records. Amarrion A. Ash, 20, 9800 block of Natoma Avenue, Oak Lawn, pleaded guilty Dec. 12 to theft of property valued at more than $500, court records show.

GUN POSSESSION: Abdel Tulemat, 26, 7300 block of 113th Place, Worth, was arrested Dec. 5 in the 8700 block of Major Avenue and subsequently charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after officers recovered an unloaded 9 mm pistol and a loaded magazine, police said.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Jason A. Domagala, 31, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 8 and accused of aggravated battery and resisting arrest after kicking officers and breaking an officer’s thumb during a retail theft investigation at Starbucks, 5135 95th St., police said. Domagala was also charged with possession of a controlled substance after officers recovered a plastic sandwich bag containing 1.6 grams of suspected cocaine, police said.
AGGRAVATED SHOOTING: Adeeb Bawadi, 23, 7800 block of 174th Street, Tinley Park, was arrested Dec. 12 on a charge of aggravated discharge of a firearm in connection with a Nov. 7 shooting near 105th Street and Cicero Avenue that grazed another motorist and peppered a car full of teens and a fast-food drive-thru, police said.
Orland Park
DUI CRASH: Karla F. Pacheco, 30, 15200 block of El Cameno Real Terrace, Orland Park, was charged with aggravated drunken driving, leaving a crash, failing to render aid, unlicensed driving, driving without insurance, resisting arrest and illegally transporting alcohol Nov. 10 at an Orland Hills department store during a crash investigation at 159th Street and 94th Avenue, police said.
GUN POSSESSION: Tramail J. McCray, 25, 1100 block of Werline Avenue, Ford Heights, was arrested Nov. 12 and subsequently charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after officers recovered a .45 caliber pistol reported stolen out of South Carolina and loaded magazine in a restaurant parking lot in the 300 block of Orland Square Drive, police said.
DUI CRASH: Josue N. Gomez-Rodaz, 25, 9100 block of Lunar Court, Orland Park, was arrested and accused of drunken driving and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision Nov. 17 in the 15100 block of Lakeview Drive after driving off the roadway and knocking down a light pole before stopping under a tree, police said.
Park Forest
DOMESTIC: Jeremi J. Williams, 32, 300 block of Somonauk Street, Park Forest, was arrested Nov. 28 in that block and accused of aggravated domestic battery, police said.
HABITUAL CRIMINAL: Romel Brock, 49, 300 block of Gentry Street, Park Forest, was charged with being an armed habitual criminal, aggravated assault and domestic battery Nov. 29 in that block, police said.
Will County
KICKED DOOR: A Frankfort man is charged with battery, trespassing and criminal damage to property after said he kicked in a female acquaintance’s front door Dec. 5 in unincorporated Will County near New Lenox shortly after she ordered him out, according to Will County sheriff’s police and court records online. Deputies took Lance M. Hosman, 31, 200 block of Elm Street, into custody Dec. 6 with the help of Mokena police, a Will County sheriff’s spokesperson said.
