Congress is barreling toward Friday’s government funding deadline, with Republicans signaling they have a deal on a continuing resolution that includes disaster funding and assistance for agriculture.
The additions to the CR have some GOP members fuming. And given the House’s rule requiring 72 hours between bill introduction and vote, the timing of the CR’s release will push a final Senate vote likely into the weekend.
