FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Virginia State Police (VSP) are investigating a deadly crash involving multiple vehicles on Interstate 95 in Fairfax County.
VSP told DC News Now that the call for the crash, which happened on I-95 South at the 163-mile marker in the Lorton area, came in just after 1 p.m.
Police also said that at least one person had died.
As a result, all north lanes are closed, and drivers can expect delays in the area. Traffic is backed up around two miles, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
