Police took a suspect into custody after a stabbing left a 60-year-old woman injured in Los Angeles on Sunday.
According to the L.A. Police Department, the stabbing was reported at about 1:22 p.m. Sunday in the 7900 block of Mammoth Avenue in Panorama City.
Police said a man stabbed the woman before fleeing the scene. The woman was in unknown condition as of Sunday afternoon.
The suspect, identified only as a white man, was later taken into custody Sunday afternoon.
It’s unknown if the suspect and victim knew each other prior to the incident, or what led up to the alleged stabbing.
