Glen Powell hit the studios this week with Homewreckers, a new package based on a novella by Neil Paik, who is attached to adapt.
While plot details are under wraps, the film is described as an erotic thriller with a sci-fi twist, which Powell will also produce.
Powell most recently starred in action sequel Twisters with Daisy Edgar-Jones and opposite Sydney Sweeney in Sony’s hit rom-com Anyone but You. His credits also include last year’s Hit Man and playing Hangman in the smash Tom Cruise sequel Top Gun: Maverick. Upcoming, he’ll be seen in the thriller Huntington opposite Margaret Qualley, Edgar Wright’s The Running Man opposite Josh Brolin, J.J. Abrams’ mystery Warner Bros movie opposite Jenna Ortega, Hulu’s comedy Chad Powers, and more.
Paik is writing The Bombshell Bandit, based on the BBC article, for Amazon MGM Studios and Atlas, with Priyanka Chopra attached to star. Currently, he’s also set to make his feature directing debut with Windowshopper, based on his short story.
