A private funeral service for healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was scheduled to take place Monday, according to a report by NBC News.
No further information was provided to the news outlet about where or when the funeral for the executive shot outside a Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday was to take place.
The 50-year-old father of two resided in Maple Grove, Minn.
Thompson was ambushed at 6:44 a.m. as the executive arrived at the Hilton for his company’s annual investor conference. The top suspect in the killing, based on surveillance video and other evidence, was arrested Monday in Altoona, Pa., on charged connected to Thompson’s death, include carry a gun without a license.
