WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man was critically injured after he fell at the McPherson Square Metro Station on Saturday and became stuck, according to fire officials.
In a post on X just after 4 p.m., the DC Fire and EMS Department (DCFD) said responders rescued a man at the McPherson Square Metro Station in Northwest after he fell one level and became lodged between the station’s platform and rear wall.
After rescuing the man, who sustained critical injuries, medics took him to the hospital.
As of Saturday evening, there is no word on his condition.
