Three women were stabbed after a dispute Friday evening in the South Side’s Chatham neighborhood, according to authorities.
The Chicago Police Department said around 7:17 p.m., officers responded to a “dispute between neighbors of a residence” which led to the stabbing of three women with a sharp object. The department said the stabbing took place in the 8200 block of South Ellis Avenue.
According to the police department, the women were taken to the hospital, and one person was taken into custody.
