Firefighters are battling a blaze that erupted Wednesday morning in the football field bleachers at Junípero Serra High School in Gardena.
Sky5 was over the scene shortly before 6 a.m. as Los Angeles County Firefighters were fighting the fire in the press box booth at the school located at 14830 South Van Ness Avenue.
It was unclear if the fire started in the bleachers, press box or underneath the stands but flames were seen burning through the roof of the press box.
Fire trucks were stationed on Van Ness Avenue just outside the school.
There were no initial reports of injuries.
