Pip Edwards has shared how she stood by the side of her good friend Jackie ‘O’ Henderson amidst revelations that she battled drug addiction.
The radio host, 49, spoke about her years-long battle with drug and alcohol addiction for the first time in her memoir, The Whole Truth, last month.
The activewear entrepreneur, 44, tells Stellar Magazine that Jackie’s honest inspires her.
‘I think for her it was extremely healing and it was time for her to stand in her truth. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. And to all the critics out there, f*ck off. Sorry’ Pip said.
‘The night Jackie released the story on radio, I went to her house to be with her and give her a big hug’.
The The P.E Nation founder says that the women are ‘spiritually aligned’ and share an incredibly close friendship.

‘Jackie O is one of the most humble, interested, invested females I’ve ever met. Who she is and how she speaks, she’s that on the street’ she said.
‘We’re spiritually aligned, emotionally connected. It’s honest. I think that really shines through in how we interact, even if it’s on Instagram. I just will forever have her back.’
Jackie revealed how she plans to celebrate her two years of sobriety as she marks the milestone just weeks after detailing her addiction publicly.
She told how she spent 28 days in the famous rehab clinic, The Betty Ford Center, in November 2022 after struggling with addiction during the Covid lockdown.
In a candid extract, Jackie revealed that at the height of her addiction, she took around 10-12 Stilnox/Ambien sleeping pills and 24 Panadeine Forte painkillers a day.
After overcoming her addiction struggles, Jackie has now told how she is marking her two years of sobriety on Thursday, November 14, in a milestone achievement.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia at Marie Claire’s Women of the Year Awards on Wednesday, Jackie revealed how she spends to mark the occasion with her friends.
‘I think we will go out for dinner and celebrate, for sure,’ Jackie proudly shared.

Pip was recently a guest on The Kyle and Jackie O Show and told co-host Kyle Sandilands, 52, about the secret to their strong connection.
‘There’s something to say about finding a friendship later in life. You know what you are looking for and what you stand for,’ Pip began.
A horrified Jackie then said that Pip made it sound like ‘we are coming out’ and Kyle joked they were ‘like a lesbian couple’.
Pip added they had such a great platonic friendship and one of the things she most admired about Jackie was how kind she was to everyone they came across.
Kyle asked if Jackie had the same sweet personality off the air that she did when presenting alongside him.
‘When I see her being inundated with fans, she is so lovely and gives everyone her time. She really does give it back and it is really beautiful to watch,’ Pip confirmed.
The tropical holiday was organised by Besties, the business venture Jackie runs with her best friend Gemma O’Neill.

Just a few months later, Jackie and her new pal Pip enjoyed a business lunch together with Gemma.
It’s no surprise Pip was on the hunt for a new bestie, following her shock split from former business partner Claire Tregoning.
Edwards shared an update to her Instagram, revealing she had deleted every single post on the P.E. Nation page.
In March, Pip and Claire officially parted ways after more than a decade of working together.
The friends, who were recently hit by rumours of a rift, co-founded athleisure brand in Sydney back in 2015, and since turned it into a globally thriving business.
However Claire stepped back from running the label, while Pip has continued at the helm of the brand solo.
