Brittany Hockley may never be able to show her face at her hairdresser’s again after a mortifying incident with her dog Delilah.
The Bachelor star, 37, who is currently engaged to Swiss footballer Benjamin Siegrist, is six months into the process of taking her hair back to a natural hue ahead of her Bali wedding.
In the last six months alone, the podcaster and radio host has changed up her locks from almost black to auburn orange and now bronde’.
Speaking on her Life Uncut podcast on Thursday, Brittany revealed how during an eight-hour stint at a Cronulla hair salon last week, she was subjected to an embarrassing moment that was ‘way up there’ with the worst in her life.
‘I don’t often get embarrassed,’ she told her co-host Laura Byrne. ‘It’s really hard to embarrass me.’
‘For context, this was a really fancy hairdresser. It’s white. Everything is lush.’
Brittany explained she had visited the salon three times before this incident and knew the all-female staff ‘well enough’ for the moment to be incredibly humiliating.
She explained that her Australian Shepard Delilah usually attends her appointments with her.
‘She’s fantastic at the hairdresser’s. She sits on the lounges, cruises, and she’s usually pretty chill. Everyone loves her,’ she said.

At one point during her appointment, Brittany could see in her mirror that the salon’s staff had grouped together and were whispering and giggling about something.
‘They looked a bit shocked and were looking around,’ she said.
‘One of them comes over me and says does “Delilah have a toy?”‘
‘I said “no, I didn’t bring her anything today”.’
To the podcaster’s horror, Delilah had retrieved a little satchel from within her handbag containing an old — and dirty — period cup while she was having her hair done

To Brittany’s shock, one hairdresser asked her, “Could you just come and have a look?”
‘So I go over to this group, who are all standing around her, and she’s gone into my bag,’ she continued.
‘Her nose was in there.’
To the podcaster’s horror, Delilah had retrieved a little satchel from within her handbag containing an old — and dirty — period cup.
‘She’s gone into my bag, and she’s taken out this little satchel. She’s opened the satchel, and she has my period cup that she is throwing all around that white salon,’ she explained.

‘I’m talking, she flicks it up, she chases it around, the period cup is flinging!’ Brittany re-told with horror. ‘I wish I was exaggerating.’
‘Delilah is a liability,’ Laura chortled. ‘But it’s just a period, who cares?’
‘It gets WORSE,’ Brittany insisted.
The period cup – a flexible funnel-shaped cup made of rubber or silicone that you insert into your vagina to catch and collect blood – wasn’t the one that she currently uses.
‘It’s very old. Mate, look. It’s so old, I didn’t even know it was in there. And it’s stained.
‘So she was throwing my stained period cup around the whole hair salon. It looked like it was stained with black mould.
‘It was so exposed. It’s not like a tampon. It’s the fact that it was so dirty. The dirt wasn’t from me, but everyone thinks it was.’
‘She looks so innocent, she didn’t know what she did wrong,’ Laura cooed as she examined the video footage of the incident.
‘That is incorrect, she knew why she was in trouble,’ Brittany said.
Laure joked that Delilah was facilitating an early exit from such a long stint away from home.
The best friends skyrocketed to fame after their appearances on The Bachelor, with their Life Uncut podcast reaching new heights in 2024.
This year, the two had a show on the radio, toured the country to sold-out audiences each night, and snagged the Listener’s Choice Award at the Australian Podcast Awards for the third consecutive year.
Besides the podcast, Laura’s Instagram page has gained a remarkable amount of followers and boasts an engagement rate of 5.67 per cent.
