A woman was apparently shot Sunday night in the Upton neighborhood of West Baltimore, police said.
At about 9:10 p.m., Western District officers responded to the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue for a report of gunfire, Baltimore Police said in a news release.

Officers located an unresponsive woman suffering from what they called apparent gunshot wounds. Medics arrived and took the victim to a hospital for treatment.
