Greg Rutherford made a hilarious dig at his fiancée Susie Verrill as they took on the viral ‘suspects challenge’ in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
The former Olympic long-jumper, 37, appeared in the amusing clip which shows a couple pretending to give police-style descriptions of each other while they are running, typically with plenty of digs and playful insults.
In their take on the clip, Greg was quick to make a joke about Susie’s ‘finger nips’ in reference to her breastfeeding their children.
But Susie, 36, was quick to hit back in the post’s caption, writing: ‘Well, we had to didn’t we (I do NOT have finger nips now I’ve stopped breastfeeding thankyouverymuch).’
The video showed Greg and Susie running along in the dead of night, while they threw out various character descriptions.

While Susie declared that Greg has ‘average calves,’ she hit back: ‘Suspect never puts anything away and blames everyone else when he can’t find them.’
Greg then declared: ‘Suspect’s finger nips passed me five minutes ago she just caught up.’
Bursting into laughter, Susie said: ‘I don’t have finger nips anymore, you promised!’
The couple’s other amusing digs included Susie calling out Greg’s ‘alien toes,’ and Greg comparing his partner’s complexion to ‘Casper The Ghost.’
It comes after Susie poked fun at her Olympian partner’s recent social media post, by revealing it was giving her ‘the ick’.
The gold medal long jumper took to Instagram on Tuesday to reshare a post about Meta AI not having permission to use his personal data.
But Susie went on to call out her husband-to-be for resharing the message, as she claimed it was giving ‘I’d give all my money to a Nigerian prince who me on Facebook‘ vibes.
‘Guys, @gregjrutherford reposted this earlier and won’t take it down,’ the blogger and writer wrote. ‘It’s give me the ick.’

Susie also joked: ‘Do I just leave now? We’ve had a good run in fairness. The kids will understand.’
Greg and Susie – who share children Milo, nine, Rex, six, and Daphne, two – met in 2012 and got engaged in 2019.
The pair were due to marry in May 2023, but tragically postponed the big day after a loved one passed away.
Earlier this month, Greg revealed the promise he’s made to Susie as he discussed his brutal Dancing On Ice injury and adapting to life after his retirement.
The Olympic gold medallist who decided to hang up his spikes in 2018, told of the mental difficulties athletes face when stepping back from their sport and how he felt like a ‘liability’ when a stunt on the competition went ‘horribly wrong.’
Greg admitted how missing the ‘pressure of performing live’ led him to ‘battering’ his body in the TV accident.

Speaking in an interview with MailOnline, he explained: ‘I don’t miss doing what I did. With my career I was a lot more successful than I ever thought I would be, so to have done all of that I’m so proud of it, but I don’t miss the idea of training for it.
‘Maybe the crowd, I miss the performance. I think that might be why I’ve done different shows over the years so I get that side of it, the pressure of performing live.’
He added: ‘For athletes that’s where it’s difficult because when that stops there’s a real adaptation phase that comes with it.
‘That’s why travel is so important because it helps you realise the importance of going out and bonding with people again. You can get stuck in a rut.’
The long jump champion went on to star on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 and Dancing on Ice earlier this year, but was forced to pull out.
Greg suffered a brutal injury which left him two herniated disks and a torn ab after he leapt through the legs of professional Colin Grafton during a stunt on the ice.
The bizarre incident saw him left on the ice for 10 minutes after ‘effectively giving himself a C-section’, undergoing surgery in March.
