Jimmie Allen has finalized his divorce from ex-wife Alexis Gale more than a year after their split announcement while she was pregnant with their third child.
The country star, 39, who shocked in April when he revealed he’d fathered twins during a break from his marriage, wed Alexis in June 2020. They share daughters Naomi, four and Zara, three and son Cohen, now 13 months.
Per People the divorce was granted on October 1 in Delaware‘s Sussex County.
In April 2023 the pair announced their split and third baby news, with Jimmie writing: ‘After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate’

‘Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another.’
Jimmie opened up about the timeline of his six children opened up about the topic during a YouTube interview with Kathie Lee Gifford earlier this year.
It was reported that the performer had fathered the twins with Danielle Rice when she was still legally wed to her husband of five years – causing Danielle’s former partner a ‘great deal of pain.’
However, Allen explained that he was not with estranged wife, Alexis, at the time and Danielle had also been separated from her husband.
‘I have six kids now. I have two twins [who] were born, Aria and Amari, June 2023. [They have a] different mother, my friend Danielle. I’ve known Danielle for years,’ Jimmie said, shutting down claims that Rice was a ‘superfan.’
‘Way before I became [singer] Jimmie Allen,’ he continued. ‘And at the time that she got pregnant with the twins, I wasn’t with Lexi, and [Danielle] wasn’t with her husband.’
‘But it’s interesting just watching how life happens whether you plan it or whether you’re ready for it or not.’
The star added, ‘So Danielle was pregnant first, because me and Lexi weren’t together when Danielle got pregnant. Twins were born first. Then me and Lexi decided we wanted to try to work on [our relationship].’

Allen took to his Instagram to announce that he had welcomed twins, Aria and Amari.
In a message uploaded to his stories, the Best Shot singer penned, ‘I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is theirs.’
Along with welcoming the twins, Jimmie reconciled with Alexis soon after and the pair welcomed son, Cohen, in September 2023 – three months after Aria and Amari were born.
Jimmie is also father to Aadyn, nine, from a previous relationship.
While talking to Kathie in the latest interview, the country star stated, ‘I decided to post my twins on Instagram, and it went everywhere.’
‘These articles come out, “Jimmie Allen Gets Married Superfan Pregnant.” That couldn’t be farther from the truth. She’s not a superfan. She’s a friend,’ he said of Danielle. ‘And she wasn’t with her husband and I wasn’t with my wife.’
In October 2023, a source told People that both Allen and Gale were ‘still together’ and said that the separation ‘was never fully seen through legally.’

However, shortly after it was revealed that Jimmie had secretly welcomed twins with Danielle, Alexis shared a video that seemingly hinted that the pair were done for good.
In the clip, Gale didn’t mention Jimmie’s name but expressed, ‘Those lies, they’ll always catch up to you.’
‘What is done in the dark will come out in the light. Every single time. So keep playing,’ she added. ‘I am truly at the point in my life where I am just letting God work, and not saying s**t anymore. There’s no reason to say s**t.’
‘People tell on themselves, they show you who you are, they always expose themselves. You don’t have to do a single thing, ever.’
‘Something always comes out and it just happens naturally. So, I’m gonna sit here, enjoy my mothaf***in day, and keep on pushing,’ Alexis said.
Not long after Gale’s video, an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively that Danielle had been ‘married at the time of conception.’
However, a spokesperson for Rice claimed she had already been legally separated from her husband of five years.
‘Danielle and Jimmie have enjoyed a friendship for over nine years before they conceived their kids. At the time of the romance, Jimmie and his wife Alexis were not together.’
‘Danielle was separated from her husband and had been in the process of leaving what was a very difficult relationship for her,’ the spokesperson continued.
Rice and her now ex-husband filed for divorce back in November 2022, and was officially finalized the following year in March. Just four months later in June, she welcomed hers and Jimmie’s twins.
An insider close to Rice’s ex-husband claimed that the ‘unenviable situation’ had left him both ‘angry and broken.’
‘Danielle chose, just as he did, to forego their morals and principles, their promises to their partners, to do what they wanted.’
