ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Maryland Department of State Police (MSP) announced on Tuesday that a man from Baltimore City is being held without bond in connection to a road rage shooting that happened in Anne Arundel County on Sunday.
According to MSP, at around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, troopers responded to the area of southbound Maryland 295 for a shooting.
During an investigation, a driver told police that someone shot at him during a road rage dispute. While on the scene, troopers saw that the car had been shot, and crime scene technicians recovered a bullet.
Police later identified the suspect as Andre Williams, 33, of Baltimore City. Officers searched his vehicle and home and found a loaded handgun.
He was arrested at his home on Monday and was charged with attempted murder, use of a gun in the commission of a felony and other related charges.
