Krispy Kreme is celebrating National First Responders Day by offering first responders free coffee and doughnuts on Monday.
Eligible first responders, including law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics/EMTs, emergency operators, dispatchers, and search and rescue personnel, can get a free small coffee, hot or iced, and a free doughnut of their choice in-shop or in the drive-thru on Oct. 28, no purchase necessary, limit one per customer, according to Krispy Kreme.
All they need to do is show a valid ID or badge at participating Krispy Kreme shops, including drive-thrus.
However, Krispy Kreme did note that doughnuts in its Ghostbusters Collection, which celebrates the iconic film’s 40th anniversary, are excluded from the offer.
“It’s our pleasure to show our appreciation for first responders with a free treat on National First Responders Day,” Dave Skena, global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a statement. “We are thankful for all those who protect and serve communities across America.”
