Josh Hall is taking some time to himself amid his split from Christina Haack (formerly Hall)
On Friday, Oct. 25, the realtor, 44, shared a post to his Instagram Stories that featured a view of the sunrise in Leiper’s Fork, Tenn. The town is where Christina, 41, recently listed her second home that Josh had been staying in since their split — an arrangement the pair agreed to in September, shortly before she put the house on the market for $4.5 million. A representative for Josh tells PEOPLE he is not currently staying in Christina’s house.
In the photo, Hall shows off a green pasture, fall foliage, a long wooden fence and an American flag hanging in front of him, as the sun rises in the distance. The post also featured the Beatles’ “Here Comes The Sun.”
The Christina on the Coast star revealed on Instagram earlier this month that she was listing her Leiper’s Fork farmhouse, which served as the setting for her HGTV spinoff Christina in the Country.
A source told PEOPLE at the time that Josh has been living in the house since the couple’s separation. A legal document filed in September and obtained by PEOPLE stated that the exes reached a short-term agreement that stated Josh could use the Tennessee house as long as it was not being rented out. Christina has previously said she has rented the house when she was not staying there.
Josh filed an ex parte to try to block any potential sale, which Christina refuted, PEOPLE previously reported.
Christina claimed that listing the house for sale is business as usual in her line of work as “a reality television personality, an interior designer and real estate investor who acquires, develops and rents those investment properties,” noting “the property was featured in her television program and operates as a vacation rental property.”
in a response to Christina’s filing, a representative for Josh alleged that the Tennessee house “was never an investment house. Christina was in Nashville so much she had to make a public statement about it, calling this their ‘second home.’ Nobody spends so much time at an ‘investment home’ that they must clarify why they’re often there.”
Christina also made an apparent jab at her estranged husband in an Oct. 4 Instagram Stories post, when she first announced that the home was going on the market.
“I guess ‘Leiper’s Fork’ is gonna have to come off the bio soon,” she began the Instagram Story — a nod to Josh recently updating the location in his Instagram bio. “Time to go back to reality soon.”
Josh moved out of their $12 million mansion in Newport Beach, Calif. in early August.
The HGTV star purchased the farmhouse in February 2021. She is the sole owner, according to court documents she filed in July, and has filmed two seasons of Christina in the Country at the house, the second of which debuts November 12.

Christina and Josh began dating in March 2021, and went public with their relationship that July. After they secretly tied the knot in October 2021, Christina and Josh held a romantic wedding ceremony in Hawaii in September 2022 that was attended by their close friends and family.
Hall, who was formerly based in Austin,Texas and worked as a real estate professional, cited “irreconcilable differences” and requested spousal support when he filed for divorce in July this year.
Christina’s marriage to Josh was her third. She was previously married to her former Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa and Celebrity IOU: Joyride host Ant Anstead. She shares daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 9, with El Moussa, 43, and son Hudson, 5, with Anstead, 45. Josh was also previously married.
