Drew Scott and Linda Phan are in the Halloween spirit!
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the EMA Awards Gala on Saturday, Oct. 26, Scott, 46, and Phan, 39, revealed that their family had a party for their kids to celebrate spooky season.
“We had a little kids party this morning,” Phan — who shares 2-year-old son Parker and daughter Piper Rae, 5 months, with Scott — tells PEOPLE.
“So we did it this morning. Yeah. It was pretty fun,” Scott continues. “So we dressed up as Where the Wild Things Are. And so Piper and Parker are both Max and we’re Wild Things.”
The Property Brothers star adds, “Because they’re the bosses of us and so we did that this morning. We’re here tonight. My brother [Jonathan Scott] and Zooey [Deschanel] have an epic Halloween party as well every year.”

“So he just goes all out with a haunted house and everything, which is amazing,” Scott tells PEOPLE. “So Halloween is one of our favorite, I call it a holiday. For us it’s considered a holiday.”
The couple also revealed that they give out candy to other kids who go trick-or-treating.

“At our house we do, we have a projection system on the outside so we have this super creepy facade on the house,” Scott says. “Well I say creepy, but it is like a fun-”
“It’s creepy,” Phan adds to which Scott continues, “But we’ll end up having a thousand kids come through the neighborhood. So we like to park there.”
Phan tells PEOPLE, “We sit in the driveway and eat pizza and give out candy.”
“Hand out candy, yeah,” Scott says. “We’ll hand out candy, eat pizza. That’s our night.”
