Hunter King is engaged!
Chris Copier popped the question to the Hallmark star, who turned 31 on Saturday, Oct. 19. King announced their engagement on Thursday, Oct. 24 in an Instagram Reel documenting Copier’s beach proposal.
In the adorable video, The Young and the Restless Emmy winner kissed Copier beside their dogs Poppy and Leo on the beach. But then he quickly got down on one knee. King began jumping for joy before falling to her knees with her arms wrapped around Copier’s neck. They kissed again before an excited Copier pulled away to place the ring on his now-fiancée’s ring finger.
Although the video didn’t include audio, King added The Hound + The Fox’s “Simply the Best” song to the post.
“Best day of my life🤍 @chriscope88 I can’t wait to marry your ass💍,” King captioned the post.
King’s sister, Joey King, celebrated the couple’s exciting news in both the comment section and in her Instagram Stories.
“WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I’m so happy for you guys. The sweetest most wonderful news🥹🥹🥹,” Joey, 25, commented.
In her Instagram Stories on Thursday, the We Were the Lucky Ones star posted Hunter’s video, and wrote: “Getting a brother!!!!!! So happy for @chrissope38 & @hunterking.”
Hunter and Copier have kept their relationship fairly private. Fans got a first peek at their romance when she included footage and video of moments they shared in her end-of-2023 Instagram post last year. They first met on the set of Give Me Your Eyes in early 2022. Hunter starred in the film and Copier served as the assistant director, per Just Jared.
After they started dating, Hunter shared heartfelt messages on Instagram celebrating Copier’s birthday and Valentine’s Day.
“Happy birthday to the guy who does it all❤️ ,” she began in the March 27 Instagram caption. “The guy who makes matzo ball soup from scratch for me when I’m sick. Who hates tofu but learned how to perfect it anyway because he knows I love it. Who re watches all the shows I haven’t seen and pauses them every 20 seconds to answer all my questions. Thank you for loving me the way you do. Here’s to many more birthdays together 🍻Love you.”
Just a month before, she penned a cheeky Valentine’s Day poem on Instagram: “Roses are red, violets are blue, even though the Raiders may always lose, I will always love you ❤️ .”
