WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said over 12 million pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products were recalled over Listeria concerns.
The USDA said the items were produced from May 31, 2024, to October 8, 2024 and distributed to restaurants, institutions and schools across the country, including here in D.C.
There have not been any confirmed reports of anyone getting sick or having adverse reactions after eating these products, according to the USDA.
