PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Two people are displaced following a fire at a home in Clinton on Sunday evening, according to the Prince George’s County Fire and EMS Department (PGFD).
In a post on X at 7:45 p.m., PGFD said crews were dispatched to the 4800 block of Salima St. at 6:13 p.m. for a fire.
The fire occurred at a two-store, split-level single-family home. Smoke was shown coming through the roof as crews were on the scene.
Units extinguished the fire, and fire investigators are on the scene as of Sunday night.
According to PGFD, Prince George’s County Office of Emergency Management is assisting the two who were displaced. PGFD said one of the individuals is a child.
