A 74-year-old woman was killed in a four-car crash in Pikesville.
The victim, Ida Berry, was driving a Toyota Corolla on Reisterstown Road and was struck from behind by a speeding Kia Sorento near the intersection with Slade Avenue around 2:35 p.m. May 24, Baltimore County Police said this week. She was taken to a hospital from the scene and declared dead June 18, police said.
The Corolla crashed into oncoming traffic and a third vehicle, which in turn struck a fourth car, police said. The driver of the third vehicle was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the Sorento has been charged with several traffic violations, police said.
