Horror turbulence has left seven people injured and others covered in food after serving trolleys and luggage were sent flying during a nightmare flight from Istanbul.
Two crew members and five passengers were injured during the turbulence on the Turkish Airlines flight to Taipei on September 5.
Two of the 214 passengers were taken to hospital for further treatment. The remaining injured passengers and crew members declined to be sent to the hospital and followed other passengers through customs.

The Boeing 777-300 left Istanbul airport for Taipei at 4.59pm and carried 17 crew members and 214 passengers on board.
The Boeing encountered turbulence during the flight and landed at Taoyuan International Airport at 6.01pm.
Taoyuan Airport received a notification at 4.59pm that flight TK24 from Istanbul to Taipei, scheduled to land at 5.55pm, encountered turbulence and required airport rescue support.
The airport company’s fire brigade was immediately dispatched.
According to official reports: ‘Multiple ambulances and emergency medical personnel were on standby at the scene.
‘The duty officer Official commanded the airport company’s initial response team and, at the same time, notified the Chinese Inspection and Quarantine (CIQS) customs clearance unit to prepare passenger customs clearance matters.
‘After the aircraft landed, Lianxin personnel immediately conducted injury examination and first aid operations.
‘The aircraft remained on the ground for about four hours before departing on schedule for its return flight.’
This comes after extreme turbulence on a flight from London to Singapore left one person dead and others injured after plummeting for a number of minutes before making an emergency landing in Thailand.
The Boeing 777 plane operated by Singapore Airlines left the UK’s Heathrow airport on May 20 with 211 passengers and 18 crew on board.

The flight SQ321 experienced severe turbulence while flying close to Myanmar airspace in a region currently being battered by extreme tropical thunderstorms.
After around 11 hours of flying time from take off in London, the aircraft sharply dropped from an altitude of around 37,000 feet to 31,000 feet within just five minutes as it finished traversing the Andaman Sea and neared Thailand.
Terrified passengers have described how they had little warning to put their seatbelts on before the aircraft suddenly dropped.
Those not wearing seatbelts were ‘launched into the ceiling,’ one said, their heads slamming into the overhead luggage containers.
