Chrishell Stause is celebrating the release of Selling Sunset‘s eighth season by sharing a few behind-the-scenes secrets!
The real estate agent, 43, marked the launch of the Netflix hit series’ new season on Friday, Sept. 6, by revealing what didn’t make it on the show in a lengthy Instagram post.
Stause’s post began with a photo of her and Tinashe, who said she was “happy to help” but “sad” that scenes they filmed together were not included in the new season.
She also thanked her partner, G Flip, for “opening up and filming” with her, Chelsea Lazkani and Emma Hernan.
“Was surprised where we are and where we’ve been in our family process didn’t make it. Very sweet of you to film for me even though I know you don’t love it. I love you,” she wrote.
“Fav look of mine this day I shot with @themarybonnet needs to be posted 🥰 A scene where Emma introduced us to who she actually WAS dating. This was pretty funny bc I didn’t like him. So maybe it’s for the best 😆😅,” her caption continued.
Stause ended her post by revealing that a scene in which she and her rescue dog Gracie were hanging out with new cast member Alanna Gold was also cut from the new season.
“And welcome to the show @thealannagold We kinda knew this may get scrapped. But it was cute and fun and Gracie looks so cute 🥰 Let me know your thoughts on #SellingSunset season 8. I have a few guesses….,” she wrote.

While speaking about the new season in a recent interview with Tudum, Stause said she “was definitely hesitant to dive back into the drama, but also happy to be back together and shake things up.”
“I started this season in a good place with most of the agents, with always one exception, and the dynamics have certainly shifted. Pray for us,” she said.
