Love Island USA’s Rob Rausch has shared a closer look at his Alabama lifestyle.
The reality TV star, 25, gave internet personality Caleb Simpson a tour of his humble two-bedroom abode in a video shared to YouTube on Aug. 25.
The video shows Rausch walking Simpson through his trailer home situated on a large area of farmland. The mobile home has two bedrooms, one of which is for his dad who “comes and goes.” He also has a full bathroom, a large kitchen and a living area. He reveals during the tour that he does not have internet access or a television in the trailer.
Rausch also shows the YouTuber around the grassy areas that surround his home, including his backyard – which is says is perfect for hosting guests – and his cow pasture.

While giving Simpson a tour of his living room, he spoke about his minimal electronic living situation.
“There’s no TV, there’s no internet,” he said while settling into the chair. “But sometimes I do watch Netflix on my phone.”
The cozy room is decorated to the max with framed photos, antique items and wall sconces. It also has a matching couch set which includes a large brown couch and a matching recliner.
As Simpson prodded around, Rausch noted, “There are a lot of trinkets here. Are you familiar with Mongolian singing bowls?” before grabbing one and showing him how it is used.
The rest of the home is furnished and decorated similarly. The kitchen features a simple white circular table with matching chairs, with white cabinets, a stove and a refrigerator. During this part of the tour, the snake lover says he keeps a large knife on top of his refrigerator for security purposes and recommends that others do the same.
Later, he gave Simpson a peek into his bedroom, containing a desk he made from a tree. The top of the desk is covered in knickknacks, including a box contraption that he made out of popsicle sticks, hot glue and paper clips while on Season 5 of the reality show.
“I love making planes, model aircrafts, helicopters, quadcopters,” he said.
Throughout the video, Rausch gave helpful tips to people interested in the trailer lifestyle. One of these tips was “getting a carport to put over a trailer, because when it rains” things “can get real messy.”
Despite his success on reality TV, Rausch does not see himself buying a house in the near future. “I think if I bought a house, I’d be like, ‘Damn, I kind of wish I was on the land,’ ya know?” he told Simpson.

While on Love Island USA season 6, Rausch developed a connection with Leah Kateb, but later told her he wasn’t sexually attracted to her in a moment that went viral. Kateb, 24, admitted that the experience made her feel “so unwanted, so gross,” but insists that they remain friends.
In an interview with Call Her Daddy, she said of Rausch, “I think he’s so funny. I have such a good time with him, but I think we are good as friends. Just friends.”
Rausch appeared on the show separately and shared similar feelings. “I feel that she cares for me and I care for her,” he said. “But yeah, after everything, like I just, I think it would be really, really hard.”
In the trailer tour video, Rausch is rocking his signature denim overalls – a look that Love Island USA host Ariana Madix exclusively told PEOPLE that she tried to get him to get rid of.
“It’s a lot,” Madix said. “Listen, maybe once is fine, but I feel like this man just will not stop wearing the overalls.”
