Phoebe Burgess has opened up about her split with ex-husband Sam Burgess.
The 35-year-old influencer and the NRL star parted ways in 2019, and Phoebe says she has been focused on the former couple’s two children, daughter Poppy, seven, and son Billy, five, ever since.
‘I think I’ve created an environment where my kids are the answer, if that makes sense,’ she told Nine Honey on Sunday.
‘If something feels particularly difficult mentally, is traumatic or painful, we have these things that are our go-to’.
Phoebe says she moved to her sprawling estate in the Southern Highlands of NSW so her children would feel ‘anchored’.
‘I want them to know and feel every single day that they are the top of my list, they are Mummy’s priority and number one,’ she says.
Phoebe previously said her two children saved her from despair during the break-up.
‘That was the only solid thing that I held onto. That was it. They needed me,’ Phoebe said in the latest emotional episode of her Under the Gloss podcast.

Phoebe, who split with the controversial Rabbitohs star for the second and final time in October 2019, continued: ‘So I had to still be here [for the children].
‘The thing that gets you up off the floor, is that they need you,’ she said.
Sam and Phoebe married in 2015, separated in late 2018 and resumed their relationship in early 2019.
They split permanently on October 2 that year and later divorced.
Phoebe revealed intimate details of the break-up on her podcast during an emotional chat with Sky news journalist Jacinta Tynan, who is a single mother of two.

The blonde beauty shared with Jacinta that once the break-up with Sam happened she was unsure what was ‘next’ for the family.
‘When you look at the practical, your four-year-old and your six-year-old need you to get up off the floor, because they need breakfast, and they need uniforms, and they need to get to school,’ she said.
‘And I think preserving the innocence and simplicity of their little routines, their little expectations, and what they know mummy provides, for me, that was my life raft.
‘That was the only solid thing that I held onto. That was it. They needed me.
‘So I had to still be here, I had to still get up and do it all over again – and everything else is just noise.’
Meanwhile, Sam has since moved on with fashion designer Lucy Graham and the engaged pair welcomed their first child together in September.
