WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was shot in Southeast D.C. in the early hours of Saturday.
MPD said that at about 4 a.m., it responded to the 2700 blk of Wade for a shooting.
A while later, a man who had been shot was found at the hospital receiving treatment for his injury.
Police learned that the shooting actually took place in the 2700 blk of Birney Pl.
