A Baltimore County man was charged Friday with attempted murder after shooting at occupants of another car along I-95 in Howard County earlier this month.
Police responded Monday, Aug. 12 around 1:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting along I-95 in Howard County, according to a Maryland State Police news release. Victims told troopers they were shot at during a “road rage” incident involving someone driving a white Volkswagen. No one was hurt but police discovered the victims’ car had been shot through the passenger side, the release said.
The following day, Quwan Gordon, a 48-year-old from Owings Mills, was arrested on gun charges related to the incident as well as drug charges when police arrived at his Owings Mills address and found felony amounts of suspected MDMA and fentanyl. Gordon was barred from owning a firearm based on previous convictions.
Later investigation resulted in the 10 counts he was faced with Friday, which include attempted murder and assault charges related to the highway shooting.
Gordon is now being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
