PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Maryland State Police (MSP) have released the name of the driver who was killed in a dump truck crash on I-95 in Prince George’s County on Tuesday.
State police told DC News Now that the driver was 37-year-old Oscar Ramos, Jr., of Mountain Rainier, Md.
Details about what led to the crash remain limited; however, on Aug. 20 shortly after 9:15 a.m., troopers responded to the I-95 area on Sandy Springs Road for a single-vehicle crash involving a dump truck.
There, MSP found the wreck off the road and into the woods.
Ramos was the only person in the truck, He died at the scene.
MSP said investigators are still working to learn what caused the crash.
