Channing Tatum isn’t looking forward to the day that his daughter finally sees Magic Mike.
The actor, 44, who appeared on the Wednesday, Aug. 22 episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote his upcoming film Blink Twice, shared a story about taking his daughter Everly, 11, to see Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour in Los Angeles, Calif.
Tatum noted that it was a different experience taking Everly, whom he shares with ex Jenna Dewan, to see Swift than it was when he went in London with fiancée Zoë Kravitz.
“I saw it in LA with my daughter. Seeing it with your daughter is very different because you know, you gotta like go in. I was dancing like I’d never danced before,” Tatum told host Seth Meyers.
“That’s a lot coming from you,” Meyers responded, referencing the actor’s movie franchise Magic Mike, which features male strippers.
“Well you also have to make sure you’re not dancing like you dance, you know what I mean? There was none of this,” Tatum joked, doing a body roll. “There was zero of that.”
