The London Underground network is used by millions of people every day, from busy commuters to confused tourists.
But of the 19 services, which one is the most infuriating?
Now, thanks to a new interactive tool, the lines that people rank the highest and lowest have been revealed.
Dubbed ‘Tube Tiers’, the website is the brainchild of Rachel Black, a technologist based in London.
Taking to X, she explained: ‘Apparently us Londoners have strong opinions about London transport. So I vibe-coded a tier-list app to let everyone settle the debate. Or make it worse.’
With more than 700 votes at the time of writing, the Elizabeth Line is currently leading the pack as the most popular service.
In contrast, the Tram route, Cable Car, and Heathrow Express have the lowest rankings.

To use the tool, visit the Tube Tiers website here.
On the main page, you’ll see the Community rankings, which update about once a minute.
The lines are split across seven rankings, ranging from A* (top tier) to F (bottom tier).
Beyond the 11 London Underground lines, you’ll also see the Elizabeth line, the London Overground, the DLR, Thameslink, Uber Boat, Trams, Cable Car, and Heathrow Express.
With 724 rankings at the time of writing, the Elizabeth Line is the only service in the A* tier, while there are no lines in the A tier.
The Jubilee and Victoria line are in the B tier, while the C tier features the London Overground, DLR, District line, Northern line, Metropolitan line, Circle line, Hammersmith & City line, Piccadilly line and Thameslink.
Further down the list, the Bakerloo, Central, and Waterloo & City lines are in the D tier, alongside the Uber Boat.

Meanwhile, the E tier features Trams, Cable Car, and Heathrow Express.
As it stands, there are no services relegated to the F category.
To submit your own rankings, you can toggle across to the ‘Make your ranking’ tab, where you can click, hold and drag the 19 services into different tiers.
Once you’re happy with your selection, add your name or a nickname, and click ‘Submit ranking’.
While the tool has only been out for a matter of days, it has already proved popular on social media.
Replying to Ms Black on X, one user asked: ‘Sorry, how is the northern line so high?’
Another said: ‘Absolute madness how low DLR.’
And one joked: ‘A tier list for tube lines is the most London thing anyone has vibe-coded. Rooting for the Elizabeth line too, from Los Angeles, where public transport is a rumour.’
