This year’s Texas Tribune Festival opens and closes with keynotes from two of American politics’ most closely watched, and least predictable, voices.

In candid interviews with national journalists, former U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and U.S. Sen. John Fetterman bookend our three days of TribFest, featuring 100+ sessions digging into democracy under pressure, the battles for Texas, the future of education, AI, energy and much, much more.

Our keynotes, like every session at TribFest, are live journalism: unscripted, on the record and in front of an audience ready to ask questions. These are conversations where the people shaping our politics and policy are asked to answer for their records, explain their thinking and make their case to Texans and the world.

Greene wraps up our first day of TribFest, Thursday, Sept. 24, discussing her resignation from Congress after five years representing Georgia’s 14th district and what’s next for her and her movement. She sits down with New York Times domestic correspondent Robert Draper, who profiled Greene for the Times last December, on her split with President Donald Trump.

Fetterman closes out TribFest Saturday Sept. 26, in conversation with CBS News’ chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett about why the senator is charting his own course and what he thinks of the current Democratic Party.

In between our keynotes, there’s so much to join us for. This is what live journalism looks like, and we hope you’ll be part of it.
