Florence Pugh made an elegant arrival to Venice Film Festival as she hopped in a water taxi on Tuesday.
Her trip to the Italian city marks four years since her ‘iconic’ Don’t Worry Darling press tour drama.
The British actress, 30, oozed glamour as she went braless beneath a sophisticated black blouse and tailored trousers.
She complemented her chic look with towering high-heels, a Louis Vuitton head scarf and statement sunglasses.
Venice Film Festival began last Wednesday with the premiere of British director Danny Boyle‘s Ink, a drama about the rise of media magnate Rupert Murdoch.
It closes on September 12, with Italian costume drama Dio Ride (God Laughs), written and directed by Giovanni Veronesi.
Penelope Cruz and Pamela Anderson are among the stars who have been seen leaving the ultra-luxury Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort, the historic heart of the festival since 1932.

American actress and film-maker Maggie Gyllenhaal chairs the jury for the main competition.
She is joined by Tunisian director and screenwriter Kaouther Ben Hania, the English composer Daniel Blumberg, Italian film critic Francesco Casetti, French director Xavier Giannoli, Afghan director Shahrbanoo Sadat and Hong Kong director Johnnie To.
Florence delighted fans as she made a comeback to the Film Festival this week following the drama that surrounded Don’t Worry Darling premiere in 2022.
Vicious rumours of a rift between Olivia Wilde and Florence overshadowed the release of their movie.
At the time, their feud was reported to have begun as a result of the film-maker’s relationship with Harry Styles – with Florence allegedly upset her director was hooking up with the singer when she was still engaged to Jason Sudeikis.
Olivia specifically denied a claim she and Florence got into a ‘screaming match’ on the set of the film, a movie about women who were unknowingly made to become Fifties housewives at the behest of their boyfriends.
‘I have never had a screaming match on my set. I was never not available on set. I wanted to be like, “None of this is true”,’ she told the publication.
The relationship – which Olivia called ‘loving and wonderful and joyful’ – lasted for nearly two years.
Yet the rumors contaminated not just the rollout of the film, but also followed Olivia and Harry around throughout their relationship.

Olivia, who directed the movie, claimed she was advised against speaking up about the speculation by the studio and other parties – a request she acquiesced to but now regrets.
‘I was told, “Don’t say a f**king word. Just go out there and smile”,’ Olivia, shaking her head, told The Cut earlier this year. ‘I resent that, but it taught me it’s not the way I want to handle things.’
At the time, Olivia insisted Florence had to skip the Don’t Worry Darling press conference in Venice due to a scheduling conflict.
Instead, Florence was seen enjoying a cocktail and avoiding the drama in a clip that went viral.
Olivia reiterated the scheduling conflict line to journalists, but as the press conference was taking place, Florence’s stylist Rebecca Corbin Murray shared a video of her client strutting around Venice.
The actress, dressed in a stunning purple Valentino co-ord, paraded around her hotel terrace with a large Aperol Spritz in hand, making a cheers to the camera.
‘Not Olivia Wilde saying Florence Pugh couldn’t make the the Don’t Worry Darling press conference because of scheduling conflicts and her literally being in Venice at the same time with this energy,’ quipped one tweeter as they shared the clip.
‘florence pugh avoiding the conference and its drama at the venice film festival and enjoying a spritz. this is what i call iconic behaviour, no one is doing it like her,’ added another.
