A fraudulent webpage masquerading as an official platform for the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) midterm convention in Dallas, scheduled for September 9–10, 2026, is currently redirecting visitors to the Department of Justice’s page for the Epstein files.
The RNC said it believes a creative agency with Democratic ties created the spoof site. They referenced a Daily Mail report published Friday that detailed a digital forensics review by a Republican opposition research group.
“Democrats are too broke to have their own midterm convention, so they settled for a sad, fake little website,” RNC spokesperson Zach Parkinson stated.
ICANN domain registry records indicate the website was established on July 7, 2026, and modified on September 3, 2026. Internet archives reveal that for several weeks, the platform functioned as a direct imitation of the authentic Republican convention page, complete with fireworks, an image of Donald Trump, and the heading “The Great American Comeback Midterm Convention.” The spoofed site also featured a roster of prospective presenters, including Trump and multiple cabinet secretaries.
