Vogue Williams has shared the sweet name of her and Spencer Matthews‘s newborn son after she previously revealed they changed their minds at the last minute.

The TV presenter, 40, announced the birth of her fourth child via her Instagram on Tuesday and, giving fans an update on Sunday, she has revealed they have named him Remy Valentine Matthews.

The mother-of-four shared an array of adorable snaps of Remy with his siblings Theo, eight, Gigi, six, and Otto, four.

The name announcement comes after Vogue previously said they had to change their baby boy’s name after receiving judgment from family members.

The couple had originally planned to call their fourth child Elvis, inspired by the rock’n’roll legend. Ahead of her due date, Vogue revealed they had made a U-turn and needed to decide on a new name.

Speaking on her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast this week, Vogue said: ‘Do you know what? Big news from my week.

‘We have changed our baby name – we have no name. You know the name was pretty full on and I loved the name.

‘Spenny has been getting a few phone calls from family members regarding the name.’

Her co-host and pal Joanne McNally quipped: ‘I just don’t think Gary is that controversial.’ Vogue continued: ‘I honestly thought though because it’s been on my mind I just, I haven’t ever been 100 per cent comfortable with it.

‘But because as much as I love the name it’s such a big name to take on when you’re little or trying to get a job when you’re older.

‘I have got other very cool options, though that was my favourite name’, before she confirmed: ‘We were going to call the baby Elvis, I love it.’

After announcing the name on Sunday, the couple were flooded with kind messages from their famous friends.

Paloma Faith penned: ‘Love the name remy!’ while Ashley James wrote: ‘Congratulations!’ and Holly Willoughby added: ‘He’s gorgeous… welcome to the world Remy.’

Announcing the birth on Tuesday, Vogue penned: ‘Our beautiful baby boy has arrived safely… The house is bursting with excitement, love and happiness and we couldn’t be more delighted.’

Meanwhile it was a busy week for the family as in addition to the new arrival, it was also their eldest son Theo’s eighth birthday on Saturday.

Taking to Instagram with an array of snaps of her eldest she wrote: ‘Our first baby is 8! Happy birthday sweet, kind, football mad Theodore… the best big brother.’

Despite a life-changing week, Spencer Matthews was back racing on Sunday as he crossed the line at London's The Big Half half marathon

Despite a life-changing week, Spencer Matthews was back racing on Sunday as he crossed the line at London’s The Big Half half marathon

The couple announced they were expecting baby number four on social media in April, with Vogue sharing some pictures on Instagram with the caption ‘baby number four incoming…’

Despite a life-changing week, Spencer Matthews was back racing on Sunday as he crossed the line at London’s The Big Half half marathon.

Speaking in an interview after the race he said: ‘Running completely changed my life. It gives me something outside of work and family to strive towards and chip away at.

‘I think for me, who spent a lot of their adult life like a little bit lost and without purpose, it’s really helpful to me to have this kind of structure in my life.

‘And there’s nothing more satisfying than feeling proud of yourself. It’s a really underrated feeling.

‘So you know, I feel proud of myself today. But I love chipping away at the goal. It means a lot to me, and it’s completely transformed my life.’

Taking to Instagram to celebrate his achievement, Spencer beamed with his medal as he revealed he is working towards the Berlin and Valencia marathon in the coming months.

He wrote: ‘THE BIG HALF! 1:23:05 official chip time. 3:54/km average pace. First time racing a half, with PBs in 15 KM, 10 miles, 20 KM and the half marathon.’

‘Today was supposed to be a hard session (not an all-out race) and an assessment of where we are before the Berlin and Valencia marathons.

‘This run was tough, harder than expected, but it was rewarding. Overall I’m proud of the result on a hot and hilly course. The road to 2:45:00 continues.’
