Tim Curry’s cause of death has been revealed just over a week after the beloved actor’s death on August 25.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health determined that the Rocky Horror Picture Show star died at 80 as the result of coronary artery disease, according to a report obtained by People.
Curry’s history of stroke and kidney cancer was reportedly listed as contributing factors to his death.
However, the report clarifies that those factors were unrelated to Curry’s coronary artery disease.
The actor had struggled with major health issues for years after a debilitating stroke in 2012 left him unable to walk.
According to the LA County Department of Public Health report, Curry had not undergone any operations related to either his coronary artery disease or his contributing conditions.
