Kate Moss transforms into a nightclub singer in Gucci’s new Primavera campaign.

The supermodel, 52, has slipped back into the racy black thong dress she first wore on Gucci’s Milan catwalk in February, which was the debut show for the fashion house’s new artistic director Demna.

And for the campaign for his first Gucci collection, Demna has enlisted Kate as the star of a short film.

The footage sees the catwalk legend lip-syncing to Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game as a group of beautiful strangers fall in love on the dance floor.

Whilst she is miming in the Gucci video, Kate does have a penchant for singing, previously providing vocals for her pals Primal Scream’s track Some Velvet Morning as well as singing on her ex boyfriend Pete Doherty‘s songs.

One of the revellers dancing to Kate’s lip-sync performance is Bobby Brazier, the model son of TV star Jeff and the late Jade Goody.

Up and coming model Bobby also made an appearance during Gucci’s Milan Fashion Week show in February and wears the same outfit for the video, a skintight glitzy two-piece.

Bobby, 23, first made his runway debut at the Dolce & Gabbana Milan Fashion Week show in February 2020 when he was just 16 years old and recently moved to New York to further his career.

Kate and Bobby’s short film, directed by Johan Renck, accompanies a photographic campaign by Michal Chelbin which features 10 talents spanning music, film, fashion and sport, including NFL star Tom Brady; American model Alex Consani and musician Shawn Mendes.

‘I wanted this campaign to be conceived as a music video and to be about emotional awakening and choosing to feel love again,’ Demna told WWD.

‘I wanted Gucci to be represented as the force that reminds us that beauty is worth the risk. Ultimately it is all about falling in love again.’

The campaign marks a return for Kate, who has largely left her modelling days behind her in recent years.

After selling her London mansion for £11.5million in 2021, she spends most of her time at her Cotswolds home and is even said to be forging a career in floristry after falling in love with gardening in her countryside retreat.

The supermodel bought her countryside mansion in Little Faringdon for £2.5million in 2004.

A source recently told The Sun: ‘Kate fell in love with gardening after moving to the Cotswolds and this is forming the basis of her new venture.

‘She has been experimenting with some ideas and she’s decided her own range is the way to go.’

Kate revealed back in 2022 that she appreciated a quieter life.

She said: ‘Pottering around my home in the country is one of my favourite things to do – it’s when I’m most happy.’

The catwalk icon could be about to look back on her career though via a Netflix docuseries, following on from the success of specials dedicated to Victoria Beckham and Kylie.

Ahead of the 35th anniversary of the supermodel’s 1992 campaign with Calvin Klein, which saw her propelled to fame at just 18, a production company is said to be offering up a profile on Kate to the streaming giants.

After releasing fly-on-the-wall style documentary series with the likes of former Spice Girl Victoria, 52, and pop star Kylie, 58, Netflix is said to be considering the project.
