EXCLUSIVE: Swiss filmmaker Barthélémy Grossmann has signed with Artist International Group (AIG) for management.

Grossmann’s latest feature, Father Joe, written and produced by Luc Besson, will make its world premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The action thriller stars Kiefer Sutherland, Al Pacino, and Ever Anderson. Father Joe follows a man of faith who wages a violent war against New York City’s criminal underworld.

After beginning his career as an actor, Grossmann established himself as a writer and director, developing projects that combine psychological tension, action, and emotionally driven storytelling.

Early in his career, Grossmann attracted international attention with his 2007 debut feature, 13 m². Alongside his studio work, Grossmann develops and produces independent films through his company, Barth & Co Films.

His recent features, Jimmy and Jimmy Was Here, showcase a more personal and experimental voice, while his upcoming English-language thriller, Disorder, produced by Luc Besson, continues his work in the English-language market.

In addition to filmmaking, Grossmann is also an internationally exhibited visual artist. His cinematic and visual practices share a common exploration of identity, emotion, and human complexity.
