Nara Smith has shared an update on her daughter’s health, weeks after announcing the toddler’s cancer diagnosis.

The 24-year-old ‘tradwife’ influencer – who shares four children with husband Lucky Smith, 28 – told her nearly five million Instagram followers that Whimsy, two, is now in remission.

In a nearly two-minute clip, she thanked her fans for their supportive messages and prayers.

‘I just wanted to come on here and say thank you so, so much for all your kind messages, prayers, support. It truly has meant so, so much to us,’ she said while sitting in a garden and holding a cup of tea.

Nara added, ‘Lucky and I have been going through this and processing it for the last eight months, and we were debating on even sharing such a private part of our life.

‘We wanted to wait until she was done with treatment and knowing what the outcome of her situation would be before sharing it and even finding the words to share it. Now that she’s finally in remission, it felt like I could find the words to share.’

Nara’s purpose in sharing the family’s ordeal was to ‘shed light on what so many families go through and battle privately.’

She said the experience alerted her to the steep cost of medical care.

‘Going through chemo treatments opened my eyes to how expensive medical care is and what a toll it takes on families, specifically.

‘So, I’ve been researching charities and foundations to support, but in the meantime, I want to post some links that could help families,’ the social media personality noted.

With their daughter in remission, she and her husband intend to ‘return to everyday life.’

In addition to Whimsy, the couple are parents to Rumble, five, Slim, four, and Fawnie, who turns one in September.

‘Lucky and I have been trying to return to everyday life and taking it day by day. I don’t know whether life will ever feel normal again, but we’re trying to navigate this next chapter the best that we can,’ she told her online audience.

‘With all of that being said, thank you so much to every single person for your kindness. I’m sending all my love to families that are actively still going through this fight,’ she ended the clip.

Prior to treatment, Whimsy had undergone tests, X-rays and a biopsy at hospital before her parents were given the heartbreaking diagnosis.

It came shortly after Nara gave birth to Fawnie last September, on her 24th birthday.

‘A lot of you have probably realized that I’ve been posting a little less and this is the reason why,’ the influence shared in early July.

‘Having found all of this out and navigating this while postpartum, also loving and caring for our other kids at home, also being in the hospital with Whimsy a lot and balancing work on top of that has been really challenging.

‘Some days are a little easier, some days are really hard, and all I can do is try my best and show up in all those areas in the best way that I can.’

She captioned the video, ‘Thankful for each and every nurse and doctor along our journey who helped us get through and out the other end.’
