Declan Donnelly sent fans wild as he debuted a new beard that took him a week to grow on Friday.
The I’m A Celebrity presenter, 50, ditched his usual clean-shaven looks as he enjoyed some relaxing time off work.
Fans will be disappointed to hear that Dec’s rugged appearance won’t be here to stay as he revealed he’s struggling with the ‘itchy phase’.
His best pal Ant McPartlin poked fun at his ‘stubble’, joking: ‘I didn’t think it could happen!’
Ant, 50, mocked his right hand man on their podcast Belta Box: ‘Woah, woah, woah. Do you have a beard?’
Dec quipped: ‘I have a suggestion of a beard at the moment. We have obviously been off work now for about a week now so I haven’t shaved for a week.’

At last!’, Ant joked. ‘We thought it couldn’t happen. I didn’t think it could happen but Dec has grown a beard.’
He added: ‘You don’t look much like [singer and actor] Alfie Boe as I thought you would, that’s what we all thought. But you don’t.’
Dec said: ‘I can’t wait to get rid of it, I’ve just entered the itchy phase.’
Fans rushed to the comments to discuss Dec’s new appearance: ‘Dec looks good with the stubble’, ‘Omg it’s real!! I assumed it was a filter!’,
‘You really suit it Dec’, ‘An ungroomed Dec is a fine looking Dec’, ‘Keep it Dec, it suits you’,
‘I think it looks sexy! Get past the itchy stage and see how it looks! For what it’s worth.. I like it’.
Earlier this month, Dec hit out at ‘selfish and rude’ parents for blaring out music from their phones after taking his son Jack, three, to a playgroup.
Not holding back, Dec said it was ‘so rude’ to play music out loud in public as he added: ‘You can’t inflict your music on everybody else’.
Ant replied: ‘Like not if you’re on a bus or something and someone’s playing their music without their headphones on, then you’re like, “Oh, shut up.” Or on a train or whatever, public transport.
‘But you know when you’re walking around and you hear music if you’re in town, I like that.’
Dec told Ant: ‘I don’t mind that but I was out last week with Jack at a playgroup. They go in and the parents all hang out outside and it’s an opportunity to catch up on your emails.

‘There was a parent sat there, watching her kid through the window with a phone in front of her, playing music to herself while everybody else is doing their emails.’
Dec said the parent played chart pop music while the others were trying to concentrate. Ant agreed: ‘It’s selfish, I agree.’
He continued: ‘I do like hearing music. If that was the one medium I couldn’t give up is music.
‘I could give up TV, could give up films, I could give up reading. I just couldn’t give up listening to music if I had to keep one and get rid of all the rest.’
Dec shares daughter Isla, seven, and son Jack with his wife Ali Astall, and declared they were ‘the most incredible thing that’s ever happened to me’ earlier this year.
Appearing on Fearne Cotton‘s Happy Place podcast, Dec said he regretted not starting a family earlier and that his focus, now he was 50, was staying healthy to be around for his kids as long as possible.
Discussing parenting, the Geordie star said: ‘I find it challenging, I find it hard, but it’s the most rewarding thing.
‘Everything we’ve ever achieved in our career, does not hold a candle to being a dad. It is my favourite thing in the world. And I wish I had done it ten years earlier, if not more because I love it so much.
‘We just turned 50 last year, and my mind frame now is I just want to be around for as long as I possibly can to grow up with these guys and to be fit and healthy to be able to lift them up, even when they’re 25 and they don’t want to be lifted up.
‘I just want to be there for them and enjoy them for as long as I possibly can because they are the most incredible thing that’s ever happened me. Honest to god, I wish I had done it far earlier and had tons more.’
