Debbie McGee has shared the before and after results of her non-surgical facelift on Tuesday.

The TV star, 67, who was married to the late magician Paul Daniels, said she’s looking better than she did in her forties.

Moreover, Debbie is feeling so confident now, she’s no longer wearing make-up on a daily basis.

Debbie has never undergone any invasive cosmetic treatments beforet this, admitting she was scared of toxins, fillers and Botox.

However, after seeing the impressive results of friends Christine Hamilton and Shirley Ballas, she decided to try a pioneering non-surgical treatment to address her skin concerns.

‘I don’t wear make-up anymore’: Debbie McGee, 67, has revealed the results of her ‘life-changing’ non-surgical facelift as she said: ‘I look better than I did in my 40s’, (Pictured right after the treatment’

For the past year, Debbie has been having a series of NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments with aesthetic practitioner Jenny O’Neill at the Aspire Clinic in Reading, the same clinic that treated Christine.

The procedure works by stimulating the body into producing high levels of collagen and elastin, the key proteins that create youthful, radiant skin.

Debbie said: ‘The biggest thing that Neogen has done for me is now I don’t wear makeup anymore. I’ve had to put some on today because there’s lots of lighting and things recording, but on a day-to-day basis.

‘It’s given me a confidence in myself that I didn’t have before, because I just feel much more natural.’

Her primary motivation for seeking treatment was to remove unsightly age spots that had been causing her distress.

Debbie celebrates her 50th year in showbusiness this year and her autobiography, A Magical Life, is out in October, and she was determined to improve her appearance before that landmark anniversary.

She said: ‘I had a great big brown age spot. It wasn’t a mole. It was two, but they kind of covered this area of my cheek, and my father had exactly the same, and they’re unsightly.

‘So I always had to cover it with makeup, and if I didn’t, people would say, “What’s that?”‘

The series of NeoGen treatments exceeded her expectations.

But what it actually did was more than get rid of this unsightly brown double mark that I had, she said. ‘I had lots of little freckles ’cause I was a sun worshiper when I was younger.’

‘They’ve all gone. So I used to look at people on TV and in photographs and think, “They’ve got such clear skin. Mine will never be like that because I’ve got all these tiny little brown freckles.”

‘But Neogen has got rid of them all. So now I’m the proud owner of a face with clear skin at my grand old age. So it’s a wonderful treatment in so many more ways than I would’ve ever thought possible.’

Debbie was particularly amazed by how the treatment continues to improve skin quality over time.

She said: ‘The most amazing thing about Neogen is it doesn’t just get rid of all your blemishes, but it actually affects the quality of your skin, the texture of your skin and how it looks.

‘The way it promotes your own collagen is incredible, and you keep seeing it working.

What is NeoGen?

NeoGen is a nitrogen plasma treatment that rejuvenates the skin without surgery. It works by converting nitrogen gas into plasma energy, which is delivered in pulses across the skin. This controlled heat penetrates into the deeper layers, stimulating new collagen and elastin – the building blocks of firm, youthful skin. Unlike lasers or chemical peels, NeoGen treats the entire skin architecture, not just the surface. Results build over time, with improvements in tone, texture, fine lines and sagging. Safe for all skin types, NeoGen is often described as a “non-surgical facelift” with long-lasting natural results.

‘You have the treatment, you have the downtime for a little while, not long, and then over the weeks, your skin just keeps improving. I’ve never known anything that has done that.

‘I’m 67, I’m not expecting my skin to be perfect, but I actually think it’s better now than it was when I was probably in my 40s because it’s so much smoother and I just love it.’

To celebrate, Debbie had a photoshoot at her home near Henley, which she previously shared with Paul, who sadly passed away in 2016.

Debbie said she didn’t even have facials a year before she began this journey.

Addressing the pain factor, she noted: ‘Pain, that’s what people always ask me, “Does it hurt?” It’s a little bit uncomfortable.

‘And you can have your face numbed before you have it done, which means you hardly get any pain whatsoever. I have had that done.’

The natural-looking results were paramount for Debbie.

‘One of the reasons I didn’t have any other treatments and I’ve gone for Neogen, because I didn’t want people to look at me and think, “She looks good. She’s had work done”, she said.

‘And we’ve all done that, looking at people. But what’s been fantastic about Neogen is all my girlfriends, and lots of guys I know, keep telling me, “My goodness, Debbie, you look so good.” But they don’t say, “What have you had done?”‘

Looking at her before and after photos, Debbie was thrilled to see improvements in areas she hadn’t anticipated, such as the wrinkles on her top lip and the sagging around her jawline.

She said: ‘I was starting to notice I was getting wrinkles on my top lip. I was so scared of going the filler route and getting dolphin lips, as I call them.

‘One of the big differences that I didn’t think Neogen would help was also my top lip.

‘And the early picture, the first picture, you can see there’s lots and lots of tiny little wrinkles. I’ve still got some. I don’t want to get rid of them. That’s my life.

‘But when I look now at what I look like, they hardly show. I also noticed a slight tightening of my jawline. The slight sagginess had improved.’

Her series of six treatments cost a total of £4,500. The NeoGen treatments are around £750 each.

She said: ‘It sounds a lot but I don’t think it is, because if you consider how much I’ve saved on not buying foundation for a year…

‘It won’t take me long to have got up to what one treatment cost me, and I don’t need to wear the makeup anymore, or your moisturizers, and this is far better than spending on some expensive moisturizers.

‘I’ve been there, I’ve done it, so that’s my experience.’
