Celeste Barber has given fans a candid glimpse into what she described as her latest ‘spiral’ months after announcing her shock split from husband Api Robin.
The Australian comedian, 43, took to Instagram to share a carousel of seemingly random snapshots from recent weeks, including a striking selfie of herself lying in bed with a white cloth draped over one eye.
She appeared makeup-free in the close-up image, staring solemnly at the camera.
Alongside the post, the actress shared a tongue-in-cheek caption listing everything she blamed for her latest downward spiral.
‘This chapter of my spiral brought to you by,’ she wrote, before rattling off a string of humorous entries.
‘Stress sty. Wine. Booie. Janet. Tits. Knicks. Art. The King. Anxiety. BOOIE. Inside. Relatable. Company. Birthday Betty. Influencing.’

The post also included a series of photos showing four half-finished glasses of red wine gathered around candles, a close-up selfie of Celeste applying lipstick while wearing oversized clear-framed glasses, and a mirror selfie in an oversized blue New York Knicks T-shirt paired with loose brown trousers and burgundy sneakers.
Despite the cryptic nature of the upload, fans quickly flooded the comments section with messages of support.
Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson wrote: ‘Oh darling. Sending all the love’.
Television presenter Lisa Wilkinson added: ‘Take it easy you wonderful woman.xx’
Journalist Kathy Lette also chimed in with her trademark humour, joking: ‘Yikes! Administer Vegemite on toast immediately! ‘
Others praised Celeste’s honesty.
‘That’s a proud Dad,’ one follower wrote.
Another added: ‘Spiral is my favourite kind of perm. Love you, lady love. Sending enormous cuddles.’

A third commented: ‘I know it’s painful but know one day you’ll breathe easier and understand the reason behind all this chaos. Sending you lots of love. You will be okay just like me and many others.’
The post comes months after Celeste appeared to take a subtle swipe at her ex-husband while sharing a video of herself doing a ‘five minute Pilates’ workout.
In the clip, she lip-synched to Alanis Morissette’s 1995 heartbreak anthem You Oughta Know, a song about the emotional fallout of a relationship ending.
‘Feeling pretty f***ing hardcore doing 5 min Pilates and blaring @alanis,’ she captioned the video, before joking in a follow-up clip: ‘I don’t even need the backing track @alanis.’
The upload came shortly after Celeste publicly acknowledged the outpouring of support she received following news of her separation.
While promoting a mascara from her makeup brand BOOIE on Instagram Stories, she paused to quietly thank fans.
‘Thank you for all your lovely messages. I really appreciate it. Thank you,’ she said.
Api confirmed the couple’s separation in February, just one day before Valentine’s Day, after 20 years together.
‘This chapter of my spiral brought to you by,’ she wrote, before rattling off a string of humorous entries. ‘Stress sty. Wine. Booie. Janet. Tits. Knicks. Art. The King. Anxiety. BOOIE. Inside. Relatable. Company. Birthday Betty. Influencing’
‘The past few months have been incredibly challenging and deeply heartbreaking for us both,’ he wrote in a joint statement.
‘After much reflection, the decision has been made to separate.
‘There is still love and respect between us, but sadly we are at capacity and have come to recognise we may want for different things.
‘Our priority remains our children and their wellbeing. We kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this.’
The pair share sons Lou and Buddy, while Api also has two daughters from a previous relationship.
The announcement came after months of speculation, with fans noticing the once-devoted couple had quietly stopped appearing in each other’s social media posts following the US leg of Celeste’s Backup Dancer tour in late 2025.
Since confirming the split, Celeste has largely kept her private life out of the spotlight, instead focusing on her comedy career, her BOOIE beauty brand and sharing her trademark self-deprecating humour with fans online.
