WWE star Danhausen received a ton of credit from pro wrestling fans who also side with the New York Knicks for helping the franchise get rid of their curse and win the NBA title.

When Danhausen first “uncursed” the Knicks, star point guard Jalen Brunson wouldn’t comment on the voodoo magic that was happening off the court. Brunson did note that he and Knicks trainers “acknowledge” Roman Reigns before each game.

As Brunson helped the Knicks secure their first NBA championship in 53 years, he finally commented on Danhausen’s “uncursing.”

“At first, I was a little skeptical. But, I mean, you have to believe it now,” Brunson said during an appearance Monday night on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The Danhausen hype has been palpable in the days and weeks leading up to the NBA Finals. He “cursed” the Cleveland Cavaliers, which preceded the Knicks’ NBA Finals appearance.

Danhausen reacted to Brunson’s mention on Tuesday morning.

“DANHAUSEN KNEW THEY BELIEVED,” he wrote on X. “Thank you @jalenbrunson1 @KarlTowns and @FallonTonight for confirming Danhausens cursing and uncursing powers to the world.”

Brunson was named the NBA Finals MVP. He averaged 32.6 points per game in the five-game series. He scored 45 points in the clincher, leading the Knicks to another comeback victory.
