The arrest sparked a reunion between Chance’s divorced parents, who are working together to save their son, Woman’s Day reported on Monday.
The Australian actor and the American actress, 68, have remained ‘calm and focused’ during what has been ‘an extremely difficult time’, a source tells the publication.
The pair are ‘totally united’ in their mission, and share ‘a lot of love and compassion between them’, the insider said.
‘They both privately agree that Chance is an impressionable character who has fallen into some bad habits,’ the source revealed.
‘They’re determined to get through it together, but this is shaping up to be an extremely long summer.’
Crocodile Dundee co-stars Hogan and Kozlowski married in 1990, and stayed together for 24 years, before divorcing in 2014.
Chance, an aspiring musician, is their only child together, but Paul has five other children, who he shares with his first wife, Noelene Edwards.
The iconic actor has previously expressed that he stays in the USA just to care for Chance.

‘Unless he comes with me, I will be back sooner,’ he added.
Hogan recently shared details of his relationship with Chance, and his dreams of returning to Australia.
The Aussie actor told Today show entertainment editor Richard Wilkins that he would love to make a permanent move back Down Under, but he is staying stateside for his youngest child.
‘It’s where I belong,’ he replied when asked what it was like to be back in Australia.
The Nine host pressed the star on whether and when he would like to relocate to Australia, to which he replied: ‘Oh, tomorrow.’
However, for the time being he needs to remain in Los Angeles.
‘I have business reasons and my son to stay in the States for now,’ he said.

When asked for an update on Chance, Hogan told the Today show that he was, ‘Alright. Better than he gets,’ but added that he was angered by Chance’s willingness to document his life on social media, despite knowing that it would attract headlines.
‘He gets a lot of tabloid stuff, but he’s a terrible person because he knows they’re watching him and he puts something on for them,’ Hogan said.
Chance sparked concern for his welfare back in January 2024.
He shared concerning videos to his Instagram Stories in which he was drinking wine and slurring his words as he sat at a table in public.
Hogan made the move to America in the 1990s to settle with former wife Kozlowski in Los Angeles.
The movie legend, who’s originally from Sydney, left his home country behind following the success of the 1986 action-comedy film Crocodile Dundee.
