FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Emergency crews worked to free the driver of school bus Monday afternoon after the bus crahed into a tree.
The Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services said on Facebook that the wreck happened shortly before 4:25 p.m. at Ball and Ijamsville roads.
Two student who were on the bus were able to get off of it. Medics chedked them out. The students were not hurt.
Crews requested that a helicopter respond to the scene. By 4:45 p.m., emergency workers were able to get the driver who was trapped in the bus out of it.
