Halle Berry faced an awkward run-in with her ex Gabriel Aubry at their daughter Nahla’s high school graduation on Thursday.
The 59-year-old actress, who recently shared her thoughts on cheating, and 49-year-old Canadian model split in April 2010 when their now-18-year-old child was just two.
They were locked in a years-long child support battle, resulting in Berry being ordered by LA Superior Court to pay Aubry $16,000 per month plus a lump sum of $115,000 in 2014.
In 2021 she succeeded in slashing the figure to $8,000 per month, but was made to pay him an additional 4.3 percent of any annual income she made over $1.95 million.
Filings obtained by the Daily Mail in May 2023 revealed the Oscar winner managed to cap that amount at $4.5 million.
In addition to Nahla, she also shares son Maceo, 12, with ex-husband Oliver Martinez, 60.

Berry and Martinez married in 2013, separated in October 2015, and their divorce was finalized in August 2023.
The silver screen siren was ordered to pay Martinez $8,000 per month in child support for their son, as well as 4.3% of any income she receives above $2 million, per the LA Times.
Her fiancé, musician Van Hunt, was by her side at Nahla’s graduation in Los Angeles this week.
The couple has been together since 2020.
The mom-of-two was clad in a low-cut black blouse with ruffle trim for the special occasion.
She added a pair of wide-leg indigo-blue jeans and a heeled shoe, accessorizing with stylish sunglasses.
Aubry, meanwhile, wore a dark grey linen suit, white shirt, white sneakers, and dark shades.
Last October Berry gushed about Nahla’s early college acceptance in a sweet Instagram post, presenting the teenager with a celebratory pink cake reading: ‘You did it, Nahla!!’
She wrote under a brief video, ‘Congratulations to my sweet angel Nahla for her early college acceptance,’ but didn’t say which school her daughter will attend in the fall.

While visiting the Today show, she shared, ‘She’s 17. She’s going to a college summer program, the college that she’s hoping to go to next year.’
The Monster’s Ball sensation also said, ‘I’m not one of these moms that feels like, “Oh, she’s leaving.” Yes, will I worry? Of course.
‘But am I excited for her to start her life and figure out who she’s gonna be? Absolutely. I’m dying to see who she’s gonna be and what she’s gonna do and what she’ll discover.’
Before her marriage with Martinez, Berry was married to former MLB star David Justice from 1993 to 1997, and musician Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005.
