EXCLUSIVE: Amazon MGM Studios is launching action-comedy Vibe in Indian cinemas on September 18.

Produced by Kunal Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani through their Drongo Films banner, Vibe centers on two inseparable friends whose ordinary, unassuming lives spiral into an unpredictable, high-energy adventure that pushes their survival instincts and friendship to the limit.

Written and directed by Kemmu, it stars him alongside Preity G Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava, and the debuting Vanshika Dhir in the lead roles.

Vibe marks Drongo’s first production, with Amazon MGM Studios presenting the pic before its launch on Prime Video.

The news comes a few months after Prime Video India today unveiled a massive slate of original TV shows, feature films and licensed content, as leading international execs at the streamer outlined ambitions commensurate to the content.

The theatrical slate also included Raftaar, starring Rajkummar Rao, Keerthy Suresh and directed by Aditya Nimbalkar; Dilkashi, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, produced by Hansal Mehta and Sahil Saigal, with music by A.R. Rahman; Nayyi Navelli, starring Yami Gautam, directed by Balaji Mohan and produced by Aanand L. Rai; and Kuku Ki Kundli directed by Sharan Sharma, featuring Bhuvan Bam and Wamiqa Gabbi.
