Two teens were shot along Scott Street in Houston.
HOUSTON — Two 16-year-old boys were shot Friday afternoon, and officers located a suspect and two firearms at the scene, according to Houston police. The suspect was also around 16 years old.
The shooting happened along Scott Street in a restaurant parking lot, next to Yates High School, at about 5 p.m. The shooting stemmed from an ongoing argument between the teens who attend the same school.
Both victims were transported to a hospital and are stable.
Plain clothes officers in the area located the suspect and two guns, police said. He had gotten on a METRO bus and was arrested after getting off the bus, police say.
Several agencies assisted at the scene, including Houston ISD PD, METRO PD, UH PD and Precinct 7 Constable.
