ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — Three boys were arrested for two commercial burglaries in Rockville.
The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said on Tuesday at around 1 a.m., officers responded to the Superior Auto Service in the 12200 block of Wilkins Ave. for a commercial burglary.
MCPD believes that the three boys — a 13-year-old, 12-year-old and 11-year-old — broke into the business, stole things and left.
While officers were there, another report came in about a commercial burglary at RMA Transportation, also located in the 12200 block of Wilkins Ave.
The RMA Transportation was closed for business when the three boys came in. Employees who were still in the building saw the boys and went up to them. The boys then ran away.
Officers found the boys in the area with stolen things from the business.
They were arrested and then released back to their guardians. The 13-year-old was also charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and conspiracy.
